SLSA Co-Sponsors Screening of Norma Rae and Panel Discussion

normareaOn Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the NC AFL-CIO building, North Carolina Women United is sponsoring a free screening of the Academy-award winning movie Norma Rae (with Spanish subtitles), followed by a panel discussion about women in the work force and labor movement, workers’ grassroots activism, and the historical and current issues facing North Carolina workers, especially women. Space is limited.
